Church and CU

University is an insanely wonderful time, and you’re probably only going to do it once. You will learn a lot and ask loads of questions. But, so will the students around you…

So as a result, we want you as a student, first and foremost, to get stuck into your University’s CU. Through your CU, encourage the other Christians around you to ‘keep on going’ but also talk to your Non-Christian friends about Jesus and help organise fully creative events where your classmates can hear about the Bible, perhaps even for the first time. We would love you to throw yourself in to your annual mission (probably February or March) and go on the weekend away (if your CU does one). Do all of this!

To complement everything you do with your CU, we at Highfields want to help provide you with that little bit extra knowledge and information to cope with the trials you’re going to face personally but also to help you (and challenge you!) as you try and talk with those around you about Jesus and the gospel. Check out all the things we are organising for you this year and come along when you can. We’re only here to provide the extra equipment and support you need that your CU might not be able to offer.

We would love you to commit to Highfields church! But, if you don’t, please please please get stuck in to a church somewhere in Cardiff. The Bible is so clear on how important it is for us to be involved somewhere where there is a Biblical focus each and every Sunday.
