HeleddI grew up in West Wales and was used to going to church, though it didn't mean much to me. Some years later, I ended up living in Cathays, received a leaflet through my door about the services at Highfields and decided to go along. I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of people and the feeling they all knew something I didn't and so I kept coming back. Within a few weeks I joined a course to find out more about Christianity.

I learned that God made the world and me too, but that our world and all the people in it are broken - separated from God because we choose to ignore him and go our own way, which the Bible calls sin – and therefore facing his punishment. But God loves people so much he sent Jesus his son to live among us. Jesus never sinned, and so he was able to take our place, our punishment, when he died on the cross.  More ...

Bell had entranced audiences in concert halls all over the world. People paid hundreds of dollars to watch him play on his $3.5 million Stradivarius violin. He’s a virtuoso in his field and a total genius.
