Staff News

Over recent months key staff members have moved on to new occupations.  We look forward to Sarah Norton coming to join the team in January and know she will bring with her a wealth of experience and knowledge, which will greatly benefit our church as together we spread a passion for Jesus.

During this interim period before Sarah joins us, we enter a period where there will be no permanent members of administrative staff in the office. This will mean the ways that we normally operate will have to change. We are very grateful to Jo Steer who is covering the finance role during this time and will be available (part time) to help with any financial enquiries and we are pleased that Rowena Criddle has agreed to work 2 days a week as our new Administrative Assistant.

We are grateful to those members who cover reception on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Thursday and Friday mornings will be covered by one of our MA's.

However, we recognise that there inevitably will be an impact on the efficiency of the office during this period. So, we ask for your ongoing patience with us during this time but also your prayers as we manage this time together.

The welcome desk and office phone will only be staffed in the mornings during the week. There will be an automated message on our office phone informing people of the change. They can either leave a message and someone will get back to them or if it is an emergency to phone one of the Pastors direct.

The church door will be locked during the afternoons, but if people did want to enter the building then the buzzer is available to alert a member of staff.

All enquiries can be sent to the Office email address where Rowena will be managing their distribution to the team or their response.

There will be an impact on how quickly we can respond to church booking requests, room staging requests and any printing requests. We would be very grateful if any requests to the office could please be made with some advance notice so that we can respond.

Thanks in advance for your patience and co-operation during this time. If you have any questions then please speak to one of the pastors or staff team. There will be a chance for church members to raise any comments and questions at the upcoming Church Termly Meeting on Wednesday 28th September.
