Impact of Marathon on Services @ Cathays 5th October 2025
The Cardiff Half Marathon is being held on Sunday 5th October 2025. Most routes to Highfields Cathays will be subject to rolling road closures.
Cardiff Half Marathon
At Highfields Church, Monthermer Road on Sunday 5th October there will be ONE morning service at 11.15am.
If you intend to join us please plan your route by looking at the map of the course.
- It will be possible to walk to Monthermer Road.
- It may be possible to: park 10 minutes away and walk (e.g. upper Whitchurch Road or Ty Draw Road)
- Alternatively if coming from the south, drive up Central Link Road and enter Cathays area past Cardiff Gaol (collect £200
), round to Park Place, Salisbury Road, Coburn Street, Woodville Road, Crwys Road, Monthermer Road).
The evening service will take place as normal at 6:30pm.
