Equip 2026

Equip is a four-week seminar series run each year as part of our vision to equip God's people at Highfields, our yearly Training for Life! They are taking place on Sundays from Jan 18th to Feb 8th from 10:15am, there will be 7 seminar tracks, including 2 for Children and Youth.

We will all meet in the Chapel for some opening worship. The children and youth will leave at 10:45am for their tracks and the adults will stay in the Chapel for a 25 minute sermon.

Then the adult seminars will start at 11:15am for an hour, with the end time of 12:15pm for everyone.

This year's Equip will consist of the following seminar tracks

• Battles of the Heart: Learn how faith in Jesus can replace doubt and anxiety with trust and hope - Elspeth Pitt & Jon Reeves.
• Dig Deeper: How to understand the Bible for yourself - Dave Gobbett
• Learning to Suffer Well with Job: Storing up wisdom for when life gets hard - Hayley Marchant.
• Loving the Little Years: Starting out in Parenting - Sally Gobbett & others
• Why being Protestant Matters: The quest for catholicity, orthodoxy and authenticity - Rowland Hughes & John Clayton.

Youth track

• A Tale of Two Cities: how our story fits with God's big story of building His city and transforming the world..

Children's track

• Jesus our Prophet, Priest & King
