Dave Evans

Dave was brought up in a Christian home in Caerphilly but it was not until the age of eighteen, just before going to university that he made a commitment to Jesus as Lord and Saviour.Dave and Ruth met in Heath church and have been married for thirty-five years. They have two children and three granddaughters. Son Sam is an elder in an NF church in Leeds and daughter Vicky, with husband Steve attends our Pontprennau satellite church.Dave has been a member of Highfields for twenty years and an elder for sixteen years. Dave also serves in Highfields by leading a life group, is the elder responsible for Dalton St and helps to maintain the premises. He also works with the student ministry and is a member of the finance committee. In his spare time he looks after his two granddaughters who live in Cardiff, likes to keep fit, read about church history and listen to all sorts of music.
