All Things New

A Sunday teaching series on the great Biblical theme of how God makes all things new in Christ.

All Things NewWe did things a little differently on Sunday mornings (& one evening) this term. Don’t panic! There are sermons, but we are not following a particular book, so much as expounding a biblical theme. That theme is one of the greatest in God’s book: all things new

Each Sunday we tackled a passage which highlights the new reality which God brings about through Christ: from the New Covenant to the new world, from a new beginning to a new self, from a new life to a new family.

And what’s also new this term is that all our Life Groups followed the Sunday morning programme in their times of midweek prayer, study and community. So the Sunday message forms the basis of the Life Group evening. This way we hope to reinforce our learning from the Bible by providing opportunities to discuss its content and application.

If you happen to miss the message on a Sunday morning, don’t worry, you can listen again online. You could always download it to your mobile device and listen it on the way to work or while doing jobs around the house.

All things new. Isn’t it amazing that the God of Christian faith is committed to new beginnings and fresh starts!

Maybe that’s precisely what we need to hear personally this year. So turn up and listen in.
