The End of Atheism?

A weekend of Christian Apologetics with Prof. Peter S. Williams

You are not alone if, at times, you have felt under-confident about defending the Christian faith when people question its rational basis.

In the last few years, the so-called New Atheists like Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens have written best-selling books, which have beguiled many people included large sections of the media. That’s opened up a whole new front of attack on the Christian faith.

But hear this! Christians can be confident in their faith and have lots to say in response to the New Atheists in support of the truth of the Christian message. In fact there’s a growing body of thinkers who are debunking their arguments and shining a bright light onto the flaws in their thinking.

On 13th and 14th November 2010, Highfields Church is holding a weekend of events to help you answer difficult questions about the Christian faith. There will also be opportunities to bring friends to hear why Christians believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
