Motto 2014
"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus" - Hebrew 12:1-2
Nothing else in life that we do matters as much as running the race that God has set before us. Nothing else will matter more in 2014. And the only way we will run that race with any success will be by keeping our focus on Jesus. There will be many issues that will distract us, many problems that may dismay us and many trials that could distress us but as we keep Jesus in focus we find strength for the race.
According to the letter to the Hebrews looking unto Jesus is not a Christian option it is the Christian's way of life. As we begin our series in Hebrews with our motto text we set the course for the year ahead. We trust the unknown terrain of the race to the one who is the same yesterday, today and for ever.
