The Globe Café is a place where you'll meet people from all over the world, practise your English and make new friends. We have a theme night every week, many where you'll learn about other cultures and taste some fantastic traditional food. We also organise various trips around the UK.

Held at Dalton Street Community Centre on Fridays from 8pm to 10pm.

Woodcroft Christian Centre

Join the Highfields Internationals group for a weekend away of fun and relaxation, activity and friendship - and an opportunity to hear what Christianity is all about.

We are going to the beautiful countryside...

Meet outside Dalton Street Centre, Dalton Street, Cathays, Cardiff, CF24 4HB. We will leave at 7pm on the Friday and return on Sunday afternoon around 6pm.

Accommodation

The Woodcroft Christian Centre has two modern chalets, sports hall in the main house, modern dining and kitchen facilities and 4 acres of grounds and woodlands to explore. Accommodation is provided in bunk bedded rooms.

£45 (tbc)

Programme

There is an organised programme of trips and activities that you can take part in.
The weekend away is run by Christians, but you do not have to be a one to come along and enjoy it - everybody is welcome! There will be a few short talks throughout the weekend.

You need to bring

  • Sleeping Bag or Duvet
  • Towel and soap
  • Warm Clothes
  • Waterproof shoes (if you have them - for walking outdoors)

Booking

To book a place you need to fill in an application form which you can get from Highfields Church, and hand it in (along with the money) to Rowland Hughes.
