Rounded Rectangle: Story Matters Rounded Rectangle: Grab a Bible or kids story Bible and read the stories below about prayer. Think about what type of prayer is being prayed, what is being asked for and how God answers it. Rounded Rectangle: Jesus Heals 10 Lepers This story isn’t technically a prayer, but it does teach us a lot about coming to Jesus. Luke 17:11-19 tells of 10 men who asked Jesus for something, but when they received it only one came back to say thank you. What can we learn about prayer from this story? Rounded Rectangle: Peter Rescued from Prison This story shows what can happen when a group of believers get together and pray for something. It can be found in Acts 12:1-19. MY favourite part is the image of Rhoda running back to the group with Peter left on the doorstep. It always makes me smile! Rounded Rectangle: Hannah Prays for a Child The story can be found in 1 Sam 1 and tells the story of a lady who was incredibly sad. She prayed to God and he answered her in ways she could never imagine. In 1 Sam 2 she says a very different prayer praising God for his power and goodness .
