It doesn’t start as a classic boy meets girl story, but it does finish there, with Boaz and Ruth having their happy ending. But the story is full of examples of real love. Ruth shows real love to Naomi with her refusal to leave her alone and dedicates herself to the God of her mother-in-law. But over riding it all is the greatest love story of all, God looking after his people and the ultimate provision of Jesus who would be born into Boaz and Ruth’s family.
